Technical focussed high-end items

* Theta:
All Around oriented
Goretex hardshell (Skiing inspired, usally 3 layer Gore) longer cut, powder skirt, waist draw cord and extra chest pockets.

* Beta:
Trimmed down, minimalist
Goretex hardshell (climbing) Cut shorter, with 2 hand pockets

* Fission:
Primaloft Insulated

* Gamma:
Softshell (mostly Polartech Power shield fabric)

* Switchback:
Ultralight Softshell

* Sigma:
Softshell(mostly Gore Windstopper fabric)

* Delta:
Insulation (Mid layer) pieces

* Rho:
Base layers ( synthetic and merino)

* Gothic:
Wool Abbreviations

* SV –Severe– Heavier (tougher) fabric , larger (helmet compatible) hoods
* AR–All Around– usally slightly lighter then SV and more all around features
* LT — Light– Lightweight ,usally XCR ,fewer features
* SL– superlight–Super Lightweight, lightest fabric, minimal pockets or vents

In sports, it’s all about “faster, higher, further” – that’s usual But mountaineering has a different nature, it’s living from tradition, out of ethics and romance. Soon also the younger climbers will recognize, that’s not all about technical perfection at climbing – but more about the “How” and the style… I want to feel the nature of the mountains, staying the night at simple cabins and speak with people living in the mountains. I would like to live in the mountains like a simple human marveling to the mountains – I want to eperience about them, not to conquer or win.”

Is it typically german there’s now explanation at de.wikikipedia for the german word “fernweh”?!
Nobody wrote something about this word… this strong feeling until now.

Last night I dreamt about living in finland. I was climbing and hiking
I have often a strong desire of wanderlust… cutting the contacts, leaving everything behind to life the only live you have.
But what about my little family and of course my son…

More than two times the week I have dreams about wanderlust….
